What do we need to bring with us while attending Coláiste na Rinne?

Students staying at Coláiste na Rinne should provide...

• Duvet, one pair of sheets, a pillow case and a towel.
• Rainwear.
• Personal sports equipment and/or musical instruments to avail of our facilities.
• Hard covered copybook and biro.

2. Bhfuil cead againn guthán póca a bheith againn sa Choláiste?

Are we allowed carry mobile phones while in the Coláiste?

• Yes, although the use of mobile phones is restricted, for example after school etc.

3. Bhfuil córas taistil eagraithe do scoláirí? Costas?

Is transport organised for the students? Cost?

• Yes. Transport is organised from Dublin via Naas, Carlow, Kilkenny, Carrick-on-Suir, to Coláiste na Rinne and return on the same route. Price will depend on numbers travelling. Parents who wish to avail of this service must let us know in writing, 4 weeks, prior to departure date enclosing Self Addressed Envelope for further details. Please note, places are limited and seats are allocated on a first come first served basis.

4. An féidir cáirde a bheith ar lóistín le chéile?

May friends be accommodated together?

• Should students wish to be accommodated in the Coláiste with a friend, parents should contact us in writing prior to commencement of the course. The request will be duly noted, however we cannot guarantee same.

5. Bhfuil béim curtha ar spórt le linn na cúrsaí samhraidh?

Is there an emphasis placed on sport during the summer courses?

• Yes. After school the students have organised games and activites such as, football, hurling, basketball, tennis, pitch and putt etc., which are run and supervised by the cinnirí.

6. Conas is féidir linn clárú?

How can we register?

• You can download the application forms: foirmeacha iarratais.
  (Please note the differences in accommodation options on the forms when registering).

Must we pay a deposit?

• Yes, see deposit information which is located at the top of every application form.

Scoil na Leanaí

1. Bhfuil cead ag na páistí guthán póca a bheith acu?

Are the children allowed have mobile phones?

• No. The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited and if they are found to have phones in their posession they will confiscated and returned to them at the end of the school year.

2. Bhfuil ar na tuismitheoirí na leabhair a cheannach?

Do the parents buy the books?

• No. Scoil na Leanaí provides all school books needed, however there is a rental fee. This will be added to the final bill.

3. An féidir linn teacht chun an Coláiste a d'fheiscint roimh clárú an pháiste?

Can we view the Coláiste before we register the child?

• Of course. We welcome parents at any time. We suggest you contact the office to arrange a mutually suitable appointment.
