Scoil na Leanaí provides a comprehensive primary school education, recognised by the Department of Education. Classes are relatively small, ensuring the pupils receive individual attention.
Children follow a regular study routine. This fosters self-discipline and is an excellent foundation for later life.
Caring for your Child

Scoil na Leanaí offers you as a parent/guardian a secure and caring environment for your child. Teachers and 'cinnirí' (supervisors) continuously monitor and guide the children in an unobstrusive, supportive manner. We have one aim - to develop the moral, social and academic potential of each child.
Scoil na Leanaí has a qualified nurse to look after your child's health and well-being.
The Irish Language
Tabharfaidh Scoil na Leanaí líofacht Gaeilge dos na páisti agus cothóidh sé grá don teanga iontu.
A carefully planned programme of events, both inside and outside the classroom, encourage an Irish-speaking atmosphere. The school provides an opportunity to become fluent in Irish while catering for all ranges of ability.
The emphasis is on the spoken word and we encourage each child to use Irish at all times. Children learn to appreciate the language for what it is - a vibrant and living means of communication which is fun to use!
By learning Irish in such a natural way, children are honing and extending skills that can be applied to other languages. French classes give a basic understanding of the language before entering second-level education.
Children have access to a wide range of supplementary reading material in both Irish and English and are encouraged to read for recreational and information purposes.
Talking to each other
Bíonn dea-chaidreamh idir daltaí, tuismitheoirí agus foireann na scoile i gcónaí.
Good communications between pupils, parents and the school staff have played a large part in the success of Scoil na Leanaí down through the years. Parents are kept fully informed of their children's progress and are encouraged to ask questions on any aspect of the school. Children are encouraged to share any problems or concerns they might have with teachers and/or supervisors.
