APPLY ONLINE and secure your reservation with a €250 deposit
Parents / students can complete and submit a course application form online. The required deposit of €250 can also be paid online, by bank transfer or by cheque / postal order. Deposit cheques / postal orders must be received within 7 workings days in order to have reservations confirmed. The Coláiste urges applicants to apply as early as possible in order to secure their preferred dates and preferred accommodation option.

REFUND POLICY
The Coláiste is happy to refund €125 of the €250 deposit if written notification of the cancellation is received 30 days prior to the beginning of the selected course. For cancellations received with less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the course, the course fee paid less the full deposit is refundable.

BALANCE OF FEES
The balance of course fees are due six weeks prior to the commencement of the course. The Coláiste’s administration staff email applicants who have secured a place with a deposit to alert them that the balance of fees are now due and to offer payment options.

FAMILY DISCOUNT
A 5% reduction s offered for two or more children from the same family on the same course. This discount is applied to the final payment and does not affect this booking process or the payment of €250 deposit per student.

2. ONLINE COURSE 

Your online booking and payment secures your place on the online course included on your booking form. A refund, less a 10% administration fee, can be offered for cancellations received in writing ten or more working days prior to the commencement of the course.

APPLY ONLINE and secure your reservation with €100 non-refundable deposit
Applicants are invited to apply for a course online and thereafter to pay a deposit of €100, to arrive at Coláiste na Rinne within seven working days. Receipt of deposits will be acknowledged by email. Deposits will reserve places on a first come first served basis.

4. SCOIL NA LEANAÍ

TASTER May 2nd to 3rd 2020

Parents  / Guardians who have submitted an application form and deposit for their child(ren) on or before April 17th, 2020, pertaining to the 2020/2021 academic year, are offered a complimentary place on the 24 hour Taster programme in May 2020.


SCHOOL YEAR – September 2020 to June 2021

  • In the event of a place being cancelled prior to May 15th, 2020, for a place commencing September 2020, the deposit is returned in full.
  • A 25% cancellation fee is deducted from the deposit for any cancellations received up to June 15th, 2020.
  • Thereafter deposits are only refunded in exceptional circumstances.
  • At the end of the year a range of itemised expenses are charged against the €1500 deposit and any balance remaining is returned to parents. A list of sample expenses / optional extras is included below.

The School Fee is payable in two installments, in advance as follows:

Redevelopment Fund

Coláiste na Rinne is a “not for profit” organisation with charitable status having a sole aim of the advancement of the Irish language through education. It is a stand alone entity without access to funding from other sources – even from the State – and has served the Irish Language since 1909.

The Management Committee have striven down through the years to keep School Year fees within an accessible range to all, however, due to ever increasing demands and pressures of the times we live in, it is now felt that some changes are necessary.

A Redevelopment Fund (Ciste Athfhorbartha) has been established, which will be tax efficient, where parents can help by donating €100 per month, per pupil, per School Year – September to May.

Budget 2013—Legislative changes

Tax refund in all cases to the charity – grossed up basis
(€250×100/69 = €362.32 – €250 = refund of €112.32)

  • Blended tax rate of 31% to apply to all donations regardless of tax rate of donor.
  • Annual limit of €1m per individual can be tax relieved under the scheme.

Language learners can complete and submit a course application form online. The required deposit can also be paid online, by bank transfer or by euro-cheque / euro-postal order. Deposit cheques / postal orders must be received within 7 workings days in order to have reservations confirmed.

After such time all deposits are non-refundable. Refund of full fees is considered only under exceptional circumstances.

The balance of course fees are due on or before April 15th. The Coláiste’s administration staff email applicants who have secured a place with a deposit to alert them that the balance of fees are due and to offer payment options

6. TRANSITION YEAR 

APPLY ONLINE and secure your reservation with a €2000 deposit
TY students and their parents can complete and submit a course application form online.  The deposit of €2000 is due upon awarding of a place after the Interview Process is complete.
