Gaeltacht na nDéise
Fáilte go dtí Gaeltacht na nDéise.
Tá Gaeltacht na nDéise lonnaithe in oir-dheisceart grianmhar na tíre, suite cois mara le radharcanna den scoth timpeall gach cúinne. Is iad An Rinn agus an Sean Phobal an dá pharóiste sa Ghaeltacht bheag seo le timpeall 1,500 duine ag maireachtaint anseo. Tá cáil ar an áit don Ghaeilge ach taobh leis sin feictear grá sa cheantar don cheol agus amhránaíocht traidisiúnta a thugann beocht ar leith don dúthaigh.
The Waterford Gaeltacht is a rural place with panoramic sea views and majestic mountains rising in the background. It has a famous fishing heritage but is blessed too with rolling fertile fields. From here premium oysters go to France, beef and milk to far flung places. Emigrants leave this place reluctantly and return regularly. There is no denying either, that in this place, ‘ceol is the soul’.
Faightear seirbhísí éagsúla do chuairteoirí sa Rinn le dhá ché ann, ceann i mBaile na nGall agus in Heilbhic. Tá tránna den scoth againn chomh maith. Tá cuid den chósta seo faoi chosaint speisialta agus deiseanna go leor ag daoine gur suim leo an timpeallacht agus éanbhreathnú ach go háirithe.
The people of Gaeltacht na nDéise welcome wholeheartedly, share selflessly but protect that which is precious. At its core is the peninsula of an Rinn stretching from pub to post office, down to the fishing harbor called Helvic Head. Its neighboring place of an Sean Phobal has the community centre at its heart and the rugged cliffs with nestling seabirds at its rim.
Tá Coláiste na Rinne lonnaithe i gcroílár na háite, i Maoil an Chóirnigh. Seo príomh-ionad an chúrsa agus beimid ag dul i measc an phobail gach lá ag freastal ar imeachtaí éagsúla agus ag blaiseadh saol na Gaeltachta
Cuirfear fáilte mhór romhat chuig Gaeltacht na nDéise. Tar chughainn chun an draíocht a bhlaiseadh.
Here the Irish language is precious and its importance proudly and passionately promoted. For nearly a century, students from far and wide, have passed through the gates of Coláiste na Rinne, eager to learn, improve and embrace all the richness of the Irish language. Gaeltacht na nDéise is home to musicians, singers, artists, film makers, historians and story tellers. Refinement and ruggedness exist cheek by jowl.
